Job Description:

Job purpose: Responsible for monitoring and maintenance of the computer systems and networks of the organization as well as installation and configuration of all hardware and software.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with staff and suppliers
  • Installing infrastructure – hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Planning scheduled maintenance
  • Resolve technical issues/ breakdowns
  • Execute technological research and development in keeping up-to-date with current trends
  • Maintenance of all infrastructure records including but not limited to locations IT asset register
  • Establish and work within helpdesk
  • Manage day to day IT requirements
  • Recognise and monitor security issues on systems
  • Manage office applications
  • Manage and configure network
  • Ensure uptime of IT resources
  • Set up, maintain and support LS Retail system at all branches (including point of sale)
  • Capture and update prices on the LS Retail system
  • Create new items and item codes on the LS Retail system
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
  • Additional requests that may be asked by management
  • Work remotely on-site as and when required

  1. Requirements:
    • Relevant IT qualification with A+
    • Ability to install and support on all Windows and IOS platforms
    • Office 20102013


  • Hardware/Software troubleshooting
  • Ordering of equipment/stock
  • Basic Printer Support knowledge
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years Windows desktop support experience
  • SAP knowledge
  • VIP Payroll
  • LS Retail
  • IOS and Windows
