Job Description:

Our client, a hospitality training facility is looking to employ Sales Executives to:

secure and retain business through professional, consultative and proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers in order to meet budgeted sales targets.

The incumbent will report to the Sales Manager of International Hotel School Training


  • Matric/Grade 12 equivalent
  • Strong negotiation skills and closing abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours
  • Drivers license and own transport
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years proven track record of working in a target-driven sales environment, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Willing to go the extra mile
  • Committed to providing high quality service
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships

JOB FUNCTION: (this list is not exhaustive and provides a broad outline of the job function

  • Actively prospect and leverage new properties
  • Cultivate strong long-term relationships with key properties
  • Awareness of competitor activities
  • Take charge of applications and enquiries (all media) and interviews by applicants
  • Handle follow-ups related to the sales function and completion of contractual documentation
  • Adopt successful strategies and tactics to meet demands and budgeted targets
  • Maintain high visilibilty in the selling and exhibition environment
  • Record all client-related sales activities
  • Implement an individual and campus related Sales plan to maximise growth and development of the new and existing client base
